Mixed Media and Altered Art Tools and Supplies
I get a lot of emails requesting where I get some of the tools and supplies I use. As a result, I've decided to offer some of my favorites to you... but I'm not sure if this will be a permanent offering or not. :)

DECOART One Step Crackle, 4 oz. bottle $4.49
One Step Crackle provides an aged, crackled effect in one easy step. It’s easier to use and less expensive than two-step crackles. It dries clear and can be used with acrylic paint, stains or dies to create an antique, aged or distressed look. The crackle effect can be controlled by application. Thin applications will produce small crackled effects. Thick applications will produce large crackled effects. One Step Crackle can be applied to wood, plaster, tin, resin, ceramic bisque, papier machè, terra cotta, plastic, glass, and metal. It’s non-toxic and cleans up with soap and water.

This is a one-step dimensional gloss medium that dries to a crackled finish on most porous surfaces. Use to accent and protect rubber stamped images decorative card stock clip art die cuts ephemera stickers chipboard letters and more. Great for paper crafts card making scrapbook pages and altered art. Dries to a hard transparent finish and also works as a glue. Bottle features needle nose tip for precise application. Acid free and non-toxic.

1/4" Letter and Number Metal Stamp Set $22.99
This 1/4" high carbon steel alphabet and number stamping set includes letters A through Z, an ampersand, and numbers 0-8 (turn 6 upside down for 9). Set comes in a protective case. The stamps are lightly oiled to keep from rusting. You can wash the oil off with very mild soap and water, dry with a soft towel and they are god to go. Use these in jewelry, on metal (copper covered art journal!), etc. Will stamp on most surfaces.
