Paper Items, Vintage Photos, Postcards and Ephemera
Unlike other shops that buy mass quantities of the same thing, we deliberately search out unique products and make them available in limited quantities. Our paper and ephemera selection is no exception and we often have a wide range of one of a kind vintage photos, cabinet cards, tin types, and sometimes ambrotypes and daguerreotypes. Use them as you please in your mixed media art and altered art projects: altered books, found object art pieces, shadowboxes and shrines, collages, assemblages, etc.

NEW Vintage Framed Victorian Print: Mme. Lambert de Morigney, 6" x 6.75" $11.95
This Cameo Creation has a lovely print entitled Mme. Lambert de Morigney by Nicholas Largelliere. I believe these came out between the 20s and 50s, and they featured victorian era paintings, generally of ladies. They are made to resemble heavy ornate wood but are indeed not. Covering the image is convex glass, and the whole thing measures about 6" x 6.75".
Hang her in her studio to inspire or use the frame and image in an art project.

Vintage Book Page Bundle $4.95/ea.
Within this bundle, you will find vintage book pages from the 1920s, sheets of vintage music book pages from 1908, vintage atlas map pages and some pages from a vintage medical book (containing at least one medical illustration), some foreign language text and some extra paper bits. At least 14 book pages in every bundle. They will be shipped in a protective sleeve with cardstock backing.

Mini Vintage Sheet Music Pack $1.25/ea.
This is a small bundle of two large sheet music and/or vintage music book covers mostly from the 20s to 40s (measuring almost 14" tall by 10.5" wide).
They will be folded in half and tied sweetly with twine.

Vintage Wallpaper Bundle #1 (Stars) $5.25
Both sides of this lovely 1940s wallpaper is gorgeous! The front is an antique pink hue with gold embossed stars, while the back is a natural beige paper with inset stars. This paper is gorgeous as is, or painted and makes for wonderful additions to altered books and covers, etc. Your little bundle measures 6" by 21" or so, and is tied with aged ribbon. This came from the estate of an ex-ballerina and was kept in pristine condition. Wallpaper is durable and holds paints very well.

Measuring 6+" x 36", this mini-roll of burlap-esque textured vintage wallpaper is fabulous for altered books or covers, or addition to any mixed media project. Wallpaper is durable and holds paints very well.

Vintage Child Cabinet Card $9.25
This cabinet card measures 4.25" x 6.5". She is standing, resting her left elbow on something and is adorned in the sweetest little dress and necklace. Her leggings are my favorite. :)

Three Vintage Female Photos $4.95
There are three vintage photos of females in this little lot: one of a young girl in a white dress standing out in front of someone's home, one of a dorky-cute gal in a long white dress, strappy black shoes and glasses (this photo has two slight creases in it), and a standing profile shot of a lovely lady in a black dress standing outside. These are small photos, the largest of the three measuring 2.5" x 4.5".

Two Vintage Gentlemen $11.00
The guys are handsome! On the right is a wonderful vintage postcard with a photo of a man sitting and holding his hat. He measures roughly 3.5" x 5.5". I am unsure of the year this was taken, however I was told that he was from the late 30s or early 40s. The photo to the right was taken in the late 1920s -- I love the car he's standing in front of! He's dressed extremely well for standing in front of a hardware store.

Vintage German Photo Postcard $14.95
This is a gorgeous vintage postcard of a lovely lady. The front edges are embossed and in great condition for its age. The back has a few worn spots but you can see most of the address and slight bit of writing. It has a German postage stamp that says "Deutsches Reich" and the postmark appears to read 1919.

I've bundled lots of Asian goodies
together into this big, delightful pack: Japanese magazine pages, Asian book pages, origami sheets, joss papers, an array of Hell Notes, two red Asian envelopes, a pack of Asian charms and coins, bamboo and Kanji character beads or varying sorts, a Chinese fortune stick (I'll pick one for you at random but please don't hold me accountable -- they are not all positive) and a few images from Altered Bits' very own Asian collage sheets.
