Below you will find a wide assortment of fabulous metal and glass found objects for your mixed media art projects. Quantities are always limited and oftentimes go fast so check back often.

NEW Under Lock and Key $9.95
These are so fun! I love vintage skeleton keys and old door parts. I mostly like to use them in my altered and handmade books and assemblages. I saved these ones for you though 'cause I'm really sweet. :)

NEW Old Metal Bundle $5.00
I love old metal. Rust is yummy! This tiny bundle has some of my favorite things to use in my art: rusty lock-washer gears, bullet casings and metal washers. Love em!

NEW Metal and Glass Grab Bag $5.95
I really should have taken a photo of all of these goodies before I bagged them up, but it will be a surprise you when you see it all. Basic overview: there are heaps of metal gears and cogs, a wee glass vial with cork stopper, some metal hook thingies (Ideaology), clock arms and jump rings. Great additions for your steampunk projects.

NEW Glass Vial Sampler $5.00
This goody bag of glass contains one small and one medium cork-stoppered glass vial and a dainty little glass ampoule. How fabulous these would be in a little apothecary-theme piece!

NEW Silver Charms and Black Beads $3.25
The beads (both the metal ones and the black glassy stone ones) are quite old, as are the frame-like charms. The harp is not quite so old, but sweet none the ness. How pretty these will be in a piece of jewelry or art!

NEW Glass and Metal Mini Bundle $5.95
This tiny bundle contains one of the glass rings from below (a $4.75 value), one of my rusty $2 gears and a metal clock arm. I have way too many though so bundled some up for you to use in your altered art or assemblages or whatever.

NEW Face It... and Stuff (Free Shipping) $2.95
I thought it would be super cute to make a teeny tiny doll with this precious little face on it. Maybe have him in a fancy little suit with the accompanying buttons, and his tiny arms holding a key. Or her tiny arms, sorry. I think it would be fun to build him a tiny house too, with tiny chairs and a miniature chandelier. But I'm rather nutty so just ignore my crazy ideas if you must.

NEW Lot of 3 Old Coin Charms, Smooth Edges $3.25
Most of these coins have a "25" on one side and a lovely design with crescent moons and possibly Sanskrit writing on the other (I can't tell for sure). Bundle includes two larger and one slightly smaller charm, most bundles having at least one coin charm with a more ornate top hook. These will arrive tied with a recycled sari silk ribbon. Fantastic for shrines, assemblages, altered books or jewelry.

NEW Vintage Brass Finial $5.95
I thought this would make for a gorgeous assemblage topper, but I imagine it would look lovely on the cover of an altered book or as a focal piece for a necklace, too. I'm not certain of the age, but this is something I picked up at an antique shop a LONG time ago (and paid double what I'm asking). I had the perfect idea for it but it ended up being a tad small for my intentions. This measures 3.25" tall and has a screw hole in the bottom for easy attaching, if you chose to use it for that (it was originally a lamp topper so I suppose you could use it for that, too).

3D Metal Crown Embellishments $3.00/ea.
I just adore these crowns. They are 3D, but flat on the back. There is a little ring atop them so you can use them on jewelry, or you can very easily snip it off with tin snips or whatever handy sharp cutting tool you have at your disposal. Chose between silver or golden... or get some of each.
See the colors better, and the backs, here

Silver Optical/Optometrist Lens $6.95/ea. $4.95/ea.
These optical lenses are totally clear, and vary in glass thickness and numbered "stem". They are perfect for steampunk, altered art or any mixed media project you can dream up. The glass lenses measure just shy of 1.5 inches. These are authentic found objects and not reproductions.

Vintage Pocket Watch/Watchmaker Vials with Staffs, Jewels and Other Parts $7.50/ea
Dating back at least to the early 1900s, these vintage watchmaker vials and their contents are fabulous! Use the vials for pendants or in assemblages and use the old staffs, jewels and other bits alone or with the vial. These are genuinely old vials, not modern reproductions intended to appear old.

Miniature Corked Glass Bottles Small: $1.00 Medium: $1.50 Tall: $2.00
Oh how I love these bottles! I use them most often as miniature apothecary bottles, putting such things in them as bugs or faux spooky things. Or when I'm feeling more tame, I shove in some watchmaker parts and gears, and other bits. Top with wax for a fun effect. Great for jewelry, creepy little assemblages and holding itty-bitty things.
They're sized as follows:
Small 1.25" tall, Medium 1.5" tall, Tall
2.75" tall, sans corks. MEDIUM SIZE IS OUT OF STOCK.

Antique Glass Rings $4.75/ea.
To be perfectly honest, I have absolutely no idea what these wonderful glass rings were originally used for but I couldn't resist them as their uses are endless (I used my first for a necklace for my mum). All vary slightly and measure right around 2" in diameter. You can't see them well in the photo, but each ring has hundreds of wonderful little bubbles inside it. We actually have tons of these so hopefully they'll be in stock for awhile.

Pocket Watch Movements $8.25/ea.
These pocket watch movements are all silver toned with hints of gold and brassiness to some of the components, and measure approximately 1 6/8" in diameter. These are perfect for Steampunk jewelry, assemblages or mixed media art projects or on the cover of an altered book or art journal. Use whole or take apart -- dozens of small pieces comprise each movement. Leave it to fate which one(s) you get!
