NEW Vintage Brass and Porcelain Knobs $2.25/ea.
These are some of the coolest vintage knobs/drawer pulls I've ever found. I love them!! Not only are they perfect for on a door to a vintage inspired shrine, they are so perfect for feet to a shadow box or assemblage (I've used them as feet on three things so far and they are SO lovely!). I was told they were from the 40s when I purchased them, but I've been told a lot of things in my day -- meaning I can't back that with fact. They look it though! (Only ten!)

NEW Vintage Radio Variable Capacitors, Type A $8.95 each
This isn't really a "type a" capacitor, if even such a thing exists. I just came upon lots of these in several styles so that is for my reference. Okay, so these things are soooo cool!! They measure about 4.75" tall (maybe a tad more) and 3.5" wide. The depth depends upon if they are "open" or not. If you aren't familiar with variable capacitors, you can twist the top part so the back is no longer flat but convex -- like in the photo. How amazing these would look in a big ol' assemblage!!

 |
 |
NEW Vintage Radio Variable Capacitors, Type B $9.95 each
I love the red stripes on these!! I got three and am keeping one for myself. These ones are a bit smaller, measuring 4" by 3.25". I want to hook a motor up to one of these to make it spin on it's own... or, um, ask my husband to do it 'cause he's a genius like that. Even static though, these things would look so hot on a big cool assemblage! (These twist "open" like the ones above do.)

 |
NEW Vintage Radio Dial $24.95
Is this even a radio dial? I honestly have no idea, but that's what I'm guessing. I was giddy with bliss when I found not one but TWO of these! Yeps, I'm keepin' one for myself! These things are fairly large -- 5" x 3" by almost 5" deep. To get a proper perspective, see side view here

 |
NEW Metal Vintage/Antique Buttons $3.75/ea.
What shadowy photos I take! These metal buttons date from the 1890s to the 1930s and are so lovely! I was lucky enough to get quite a few so have put together several bundles. All have the same amount and style of buttons, but the level of wear or paint chippage will vary slightly from bundle to bundle.

 |
3D Metal Crown Embellishments $3.00/ea.
I just adore these crowns. They are 3D, but flat on the back. There is a little ring atop them so you can use them on jewelry, or you can very easily snip it off with tin snips or whatever handy sharp cutting tool you have at your disposal. Chose between silver or golden... or get some of each.
See the colors better, and the backs, here

NEW Handmade Ethiopian Brass Beads 2 for $1.00
These came directly from Ethiopia. They are so incredibly gorgeous -- they are made of brass, I believe, and each bead is one of a kind.
I have great plans for my share of these beads and will post some soon, but here is a hint: one is a necklace and the other is a shrine.
50% of each sale of these fantastic beads goes to Ethiopia Reads, a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting children with books.

NEW Giddy Up!! (aged silver horse embellishment) $2.50/ea.
I know lots of gals who do create wonderful cowgirl art pieces so when I happened upon a bag of these aged silver horses I had to snatch them up, just in case. I'm not sure what the back hook apparatus thingies are called so you can see a photo here. Sew or glue them onto your project -- I betcha you could pull those backs off too if it would be more convenient for your project. Oh, and they measure about 2.25" x 1.25ish. (Only eight!)

 |
NEW Asian Brass Bells $2.00/ea.
These pretty brass bells are about 1.75" tall, 1.25" wide and have the most magnificent toned sound when you ring them. I hung one from a pretty bead and fiber hanger and put it on my door. I love the sound they make... plus they are quite pretty! I have another one set aside that I will be hanging from a large Asian inspired assemblage that is manifesting itself in my mind as I type.

Small Bird Charm $3.25
I seriously don't know what's up with me lately but I have an obsession with making little cards and tags to accompany the new batch of goodies I'm adding to the site. The mere act of shoving it into a baggy just isn't enough. These wee bird charms measure about an inch from beak to tail (and vice versa). They would be a great addition to any project.

 |
 |
Large Bird Charm $7.95
Sewn sweetly, though rather randomly to one of the new Altered Bits ATC backgrounds (coming soon to collage sheets), this hefty bird flies. S/he measures not quite 2" from tail-tip to beak, and has a wing-span of precisely a little more than 1.25". I'm making a necklace from the one I'm keeping. Ohhh, so envious all will be!!

Blue Glass: Vintage Poison Bottle $5.95
Blue glass bottles just have to be one of the coolest things in the world. This little beauty has no cap (I'll toss in a free cork for you if you'd like) and reads 1912 on the bottom. I'm not sure if that is a date or item/product number. This would look gorgeous in an assemblage or just sitting on a shelf by a window.

They're sized as follows:

Antique Glass Rings $4.75/ea.
To be perfectly honest, I have absolutely no idea what these wonderful glass rings were originally used for but I couldn't resist them as their uses are endless (I used my first for a necklace for my mum). All vary slightly and measure right around 2" in diameter. You can't see them well in the photo, but each ring has hundreds of wonderful little bubbles inside it. We actually have tons of these so hopefully they'll be in stock for awhile.

Although I cannot provide a date, I know that these are quite old and came from a very dusty antique jar in a wonderful old man's garage (who, by the way, thought I was insane to consider rusty nails as "art").
