These came directly from Ethiopia. They are so incredibly gorgeous -- they are made of brass, I believe, and each bead is one of a kind.

3D Metal Crown Embellishments $2.00/ea.
I just adore these crowns. They are 3D, but flat on the back. There is a little ring atop them so you can use them on jewelry, or you can very easily snip it off with tin snips or whatever handy sharp cutting tool you have at your disposal. Chose between silver or golden... or get some of each.

NEW Old Photo Slides $1.50 for 4
I found, photographed and bundled these a long time ago and just realized I never added them to the site. Whoops! These are old, mostly from the 1960s to 90s (okay, not all that old) and most are pretty cool images from peoples' various travels around the world. See two randomly picked examples here and here.

Small Bird Charm $3.25/ea.
I seriously don't know what's up with me lately but I have an obsession with making little cards and tags to accompany the new batch of goodies I'm adding to the site. The mere act of shoving it into a baggy just isn't enough. These wee bird charms measure about an inch from beak to tail (and vice versa). They would be a great addition to any project.

Large Bird Charm $7.95/ea.
Sewn sweetly, though rather randomly to one of the new Altered Bits ATC backgrounds (coming soon to collage sheets), this hefty bird flies. S/he measures not quite 2" from tail-tip to beak, and has a wing-span of precisely a little more than 1.25". I'm making a necklace from the one I'm keeping. Ohhh, so envious all will be!!

Numbered Pocket Watch/Watchmaker Vials
I can't get enough of these numbered pocket watch/watch maker vials! I just love them! These are vintage, though nowhere near as old as the previous lot I posted from the 1800s. If you'd like a specific number, let me know and I'll see if I have it for you, or you can let me chose. Update: all 13s were sold within 15 minutes of posting these, sadly -- that is my favorite number too.

NEW Metal Vintage/Antique Buttons $3.75/ea.
What shadowy photos I take! These metal buttons date from the 1890s to the 1930s and are so lovely! I was lucky enough to get quite a few so have put together several bundles. All have the same amount and style of buttons, but the level of wear or paint chippage will vary slightly from bundle to bundle.

Small Metal Wing Charms $3.75/pair
Measuring approximately 1.25", these dainty metal bird or angel wing charms are perfect for spicing up any altered art or mixed media project. use them in altered books, assemblages or jewelry. They also rust up pretty decently too, if you're into that. Small wing charms come packed in a wee baggy with a reusable cloud tag (cause I'm kind of obsessive over packing this week).

Large Metal Wing Charms $4.95/pair
"Large" is probably an overstatement. I should say "Larger Than Small". These charming bird or angel wings measure just over 1.5" from wing-tip to connector hole. They are gorgeous for jewelry, assemblage, altered books, etc. They also rust up pretty decently too, if you're into that. Wing charms come packed in a wee baggy with a wing and cloud tag.

Large Hummingbird Charm $9.95
I am so in love with these little guys! They are larger than they looks though: just shy of 2.25 inches in width (from beak tip to tip of front wing) and 2.25 inches tall. They have a small hole for possible threading on the tip of the front wing as well as a small hook on the back of the right wing and another on the back of the tail. They would look gorgeous on the cover of a book, or as a piece of wonderful hummingbird jewelry, rusted or as is.

Two-Pack of Small Natural Bamboo Tiles $1.75
I love these bamboo tiles due to their never-ending list of uses. They are fantastic to collage or paint and varnish for necklace centerpieces, string together for chunky bracelets, add to altered books, etc. There are two parallel holes from top to bottom (vertically) and they measure 3/4" x 1 1/2".

NEW Giddy Up!! (aged silver horse embellishment) $2.50/ea.
I know lots of gals who do create wonderful cowgirl art pieces so when I happened upon a bag of these aged silver horses I had to snatch them up, just in case. I'm not sure what the back hook apparatus thingies are called so you can see a photo here. Sew or glue them onto your project -- I betcha you could pull those backs off too if it would be more convenient for your project. Oh, and they measure about 2.25" x 1.25ish. (Only eight!)

NEW Asian Brass Bells $2.00/ea.
These pretty brass bells are about 1.75" tall, 1.25" wide and have the most magnificent toned sound when you ring them. I hung one from a pretty bead and fiber hanger and put it on my door. I love the sound they make... plus they are quite pretty! I have another one set aside that I will be hanging from a large Asian inspired assemblage that is manifesting itself in my mind as I type. (Only six!)

Small Capped Bottles Packed w/ Glass Micro Beads $3.95
These beads seriously rock (and the bottles are too shabby either). I use the beads for texture in collages, paintings, assemblages, in jewelry, etc. Here is an example of both clear and black ones I used on a shrine I made for a recent show: Ada Lovelace Shrine.
Available with clear or black beads (and when they are gone, you can do something very magnificent with the bottle!).
P.S. The bottle is about an inch tall and half an inch thick, not including cap or neck.

Black Velvet Beads $2.25 for 4
I am not sure how old these are, but they remind me of a flocked baby blue necklace and old neighbor lady used to wear when I was a wee lass. They measure about 14mm in width and are as soft as can be.
These are fantastic for a timeless addition to jewelry or for use in just about any mixed media project. Because they are fuzzy though, they seem to enjoy collecting stray lint particles here and there. Personally, that just adds to their charm for me. Four come in each packet.

I am not sure what these gorgeous Cameo Ladies are made from but they appear to be a resin or plastic of sorts rather than the traditional shell, agate or glass. Regardless of their lack of age, they are wonderfully fun and lovely indeed! These beauties measure 1.5" tall by almost 1.25" wide. This popular little black baggy contains a large skull bead carved from antiqued bone, a medium skull antiqued bone bead and three small hand-carved wooden skull beads.
